Her home is fully adapted, and she has her own living quarters within her family home, including a living room, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Sara is a social butterfly, loves pamper sessions, aromatherapy, switch toys, spending quality time with her sister and listening to music. Sara requires a proactive, engaging and organised SEN Support Worker who will bring new ideas on board. If Sara is having a resting day and needs to catch up on sleep, you will use this time to plan ahead, organise equipment, appointments etc. The CCTV system allows you to monitor Sara while she sleeps, so you can attend to other duties and receive alerts when she needs assistance. Sara has an extensive therapy programme in place, and training will be provided by her therapist to implement these. This role will involve manual handling (ceiling track hoists), supporting with personal care, complex medical care and administering medication.
