Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an award-winning civil engineering and building company in Cambridge.

From a network of offices they specialise in infrastructure, and groundworks, predominantly in the residential sector, covering most of the UK.

Our client has been founded since 1995 and continue to expand after many years of overwhelming success.

They are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their Eastern team (Cambridge office) as a Quantity Surveyor

The role – Civil Engineering Quantity Surveyor

This civil engineering contractor are searching for a hard working and driven Quantity Surveyor who is looking to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Based in their Cambridge office, you will work alongside their production team, overseeing the contractual control and cost management across a wide range of projects for the region.

You will be office based with site visits within the Eastern region.

You will be joining a commercial team of 5

You will have exposure to the full project life cycle with involvement from initial enquiry through to project delivery

You will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects relating to the projects, whilst achieving the highest standards ensuring the company’s strong reputation is maintained.

The right person……

* GCSE’s Minimum 7 A-C / 5-9 including Math’s and English.

* Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor and / or Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

* Experience working on residential groundwork schemes

* General Knowledge of contractual terms within construction.

* Excellent PC skills, in particular excel.
