This Internal Sales Engineer role will allow you to build on your existing skills and develop into a better catch.
You’ll be working for an SME-sized manufacturing and engineering business. It’s a growing business, enjoying healthy markets. It’s also part of a global group that believes in continuous investment – and that includes its people.
Variety is the key word here. You will be focused on dealing with global customers via email and telephone on quotation enquires. You will be very much involved with providing detailed and accurate costings in an efficient and lean manner. Projects will range from small and bespoke to large and complex. You’ll need to use historical data and be involved with production teams and contract review processes.
It's a fairly small sales office team but with a real family feel. The company is known to celebrate successes with the odd fish and chip lunch or round of ice creams, and there’s always the chance to join in a curry night or day at the races with the sports and social club.
It’s a business that’s proud of its 100+ years of innovation. Today it produces products that protect lives, investments and environments in industries including space, aviation, F1 and renewable energy. Like them, you’ll pride yourself on your quality and right first time attitude.
So what will you need to do this job?
Most importantly, you’ll be a completer by nature. You’ll able to demonstrate the ability to research industrial markets, customer buying patterns and trends and the ability to account manage with a big emphasis on customer service.
