Learning Support Assistant – Primary School in Wandsworth (SW18)

Are you passionate about supporting children with diverse learning needs? We’re looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming team at a vibrant primary school in Wandsworth (SW18).

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to provide tailored support for children with additional learning needs. You’ll help create an inclusive environment, offering both academic and emotional support to ensure every child can thrive and succeed.

What You’ll Do:

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with various learning needs.
Assist with classroom activities and help maintain a positive and engaging learning environment.
Foster children’s independence, confidence, and academic progress.
Support the teacher in planning and delivering inclusive lessons.
Who We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with children (in a classroom or similar setting) is desirable but not essential.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children’s development.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment where all children feel supported.
