Domestic Assistant / Housekeeper

Resilience Personnel is a leading recruting agency that provides high-quality and reliable staff to various care homes across the UK. We are looking for agency Domestic Assistant / Housekeeper who can work part time shifts (Long day)
As an agency Domestic Assistant / Housekeeper, you will be responsible for:
1. Cleaning and Maintenance: This includes dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining communal areas and residents’ rooms.
2. Laundry Services: Washing, drying, ironing, and organizing residents’ clothing and linens.
3. Bed Making: Regularly changing and making beds to ensure cleanliness and comfort.
4. Stock Management: Keeping records of housekeeping supplies and ordering new stock as needed.
5. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensuring all cleaning practices meet health and safety standards, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
6. Supporting Residents: Assisting with minor tasks to support residents’ daily living, such as helping with mobility or providing companionship.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 6 months of experience as a care assistant, preferably in a care home setting
* A passion for providing person-centred care and enhancing the quality of life of residents
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as per the agency’s rota
* A positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
* A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
