Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technical Manager to ensure the highest quality and safety of their products while maintaining their prestigious AA+ BRC accreditation. In this role, you will lead and mentor a team, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Note: This position presents a fantastic opportunity for career advancement for the right candidate.
Job role:
* Ensure the company and its suppliers meet BRC and other food safety standards.
* Maintain and develop the company’s QMS.
* Review, improve and update the HACCP system.
* Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience working within a Food Manufacturing environment (essential).
* Food safety qualification (essential).
* Proven success with BRC audits (essential).
* Experience with HACCP/TACCP/VACCP.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion for fostering a collaborative work environment.
What’s on offer:
* Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (negotiable for the right candidate)
* Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:15 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM (some overtime may be required during busy periods)
* Remote Work: Opportunity to work remotely one day a week.
