Process Engineer

Location Yeadon, Otley

Salary Negotiable + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + pension + benefits

Hours Mon – Friday daytime

A genuinely superb & quite unique opportunity for a process engineer to join a market leading business going through a period of growth and investment. Great projects to be involved in with a friendly and supportive team and culture.

The Job:

* Working closely with the plant manager, engineering manager, maintenance teams and operators to ensure positive production results, quality and reduce machinery downtime.

* Help set up new and improve existing processes and procedures of the plant.

* Oversee and have some input and awareness of the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment

* Running reports for production figures

* Assist with shut down planning

* Analysing process and quality data to assist with process optimisation and identify areas for improvements.

* Help create and maintain process documents eg work instructions, FMEA, SOPs, risk assessment.

* Assist with training and mentoring instilling a safety culture and a professional, supportive, collaborative and inclusive environment.

The Person:

* Degree qualified engineer

* Analytical, technical, scientific and data driven approach

* Process improvement experience within a manufacturing or process plant environment.

* Good communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills would be an advantage
