Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday, 9-5pm.

Pay Rate: £ 29.33 per hour

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to manage and maintain electrical systems, plant equipment, and services. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe and suitable environment for patients, staff, and visitors, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage Electrical Systems: Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical systems across the Trust, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Contract Management: Manage electrical contracts, ensuring value for money, quality service, and compliance with regulations.
Provide Technical Advice: Offer expert advice on electrical systems to staff and contractors.
Ensure Safety & Compliance: Make sure all electrical systems meet health and safety standards and statutory requirements.
Planning & Strategy: Develop and implement long-term maintenance plans and strategies to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
Emergency Response: Support the Trust's emergency on-call system, providing technical assistance when needed.
Sustainability: Work with the Energy Manager to improve energy efficiency across the Trust's estate.
Staff Training: Provide guidance and training on electrical systems to staff and contractors.
You will be required to travel to various Trust locationsRequirements:

Experience: Strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in large-scale systems (healthcare setting is a plus).
Qualifications: Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND or equivalent).
Leadership: Ability to manage teams and contractors effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Compliance: Knowledge of health and safety, NHS standards, and relevant regulations.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel across Trust sites and respond to emergencies.
Possession of a full UK driving licence.
AP - LV and HV
Experience with HTMs or HBN's is highly advantageous
