Position: SEN / Intervention Teacher

Location: Accrington
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: November 2024 or sooner

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement tailored intervention programmes for students with SEN, ensuring each child receives the support they need to thrive.
Work closely with classroom teachers to identify children requiring additional support.
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of individual learners.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students.
Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
Maintain up-to-date records of pupil progress and contribute to individual education plans (IEPs).

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
A passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Patience, creativity, and adaptability in your teaching methods.

Desirable:

Additional qualifications in SEN or experience in a specialist SEN environment.
