About the Role:
We’re hiring a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the effective operation of a busy warehouse environment in Rugby. This vital role ensures the smooth maintenance and safety of warehouse equipment, conveyor systems, and site facilities. If you have a hands-on approach and a passion for keeping systems in peak condition, this could be the role for you

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine and preventative maintenance (PPM) on conveyor systems and other warehouse equipment.

* Diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

* Lead small-scale maintenance projects with clear objectives and timelines.

* Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and supporting a 5S culture.

* Document maintenance processes and provide training to others to foster effective practices.

* Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate and reliable equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

* Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment.

* Knowledge of conveyor systems, mechanical, and electrical systems.

* Strong understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen attention to detail.

* Familiarity with health and safety practices in an industrial setting.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Desirable:

* Forklift license and health & safety certifications (not essential but beneficial).
