Location: Hospital in North Bristol
Hours: 12-Hour Shifts (covering days, nights, and weekends)
Pay Rate: £11.44 - £19.33 per hour (days, nights and weekends)
 
About the Role:
 
We are seeking vigilant and professional Security Guards to join our team at North Bristol Hospital. In this essential role, you’ll help maintain a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors, working in a hospital setting that requires both sensitivity and strong situational awareness. This role involves 12-hour shifts, including daytime, nighttime, and weekend coverage, offering varied work and the opportunity to make a difference in a healthcare environment.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Patrol hospital premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or disorder
Monitor and control access to hospital facilities, ensuring only authorized personnel enter secure areas
Respond to security alerts or emergency calls, providing assistance as needed
Work closely with hospital staff to maintain a safe and calm environment, especially in sensitive areas
Complete reports on daily activities and incidents as required 
What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a similar role is highly advantageous
Strong observational and problem-solving skills
Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage sensitive situations with professionalism
Good communication skills to interact effectively with hospital staff, visitors, and patients
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends
