School Financial Advisor

Our local authority are looking for a School Financial Advisor, The role will be temporary in the first instance, immediate start, initially until 31st March 2025.
Rate Of Pay £15.44 Per Hour
Duties and Essential Skills required
* Proficiency in School Financial Management Systems: Familiarity with systems such as SIMS FMS and ACCESS, along with a solid understanding of school financial management processes.
* Passion for Financial Education: Enthusiasm and dedication to help schools comprehend their budgets, meet statutory requirements, and achieve high customer satisfaction.
* Positive Attitude: A ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work independently while supporting various school-based staff.
* Team Integration: Ability to be an integrated member of the School Financial Advisor Team.
* Enhanced DBS: Must possess an Enhanced DBS.
* Finance Experience: Prior experience in finance is essential; accountancy qualifications are advantageous.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* Numerical Proficiency: Competence with numbers and financial data.
* Travel Requirements: Willingness to visit schools, with expenses claimable from the office base to the location.
* Driving Licence: A full, clean driving licence and access to a car for on-site school visits.
* System Proficiency: Experience with SIMS (FMS), Access, and Excel, with training provided as needed.
Working hours are flexible especially around school term. Hybrid working to be discussed after training period
