CNC Operator

MANE are currently recruiting for CNC Operators, in the Cambridge area for a world leading Aerospace company. The role is a 6 month rolling contract, with the possibility of a permanent position for suitable candidates.

Resposibilities:

Develop CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis machining, focused on trimming composite parts, machining CNC jigs, and patterns for composite tooling production.
Create comprehensive work instructions to guide machining setup and processes, ensuring clarity and precision for CNC operators.
Provide hands-on support to CNC operators during machining activities, ensuring adherence to best practices and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Identify and implement machining best practices to optimize efficiency, reduce cycle times, and improve overall productivity.
Collaborate with production operatives, offering expertise and support in all aspects of 3-axis and 5-axis machining operations.
Operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines as needed to provide additional resource coverage or meet production demands
