We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aspiring Psychologist to join an outstanding Primary School in Hackney. This long-term role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, work closely with children, and collaborate with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
Assist in the development and implementation of personalized intervention plans.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to create a nurturing environment.
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and progress.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan support strategies.
Promote mental health awareness and positive well-being within the school community.
Requirements:
A degree in Psychology or a related field (or currently working towards one).
A strong passion for working with children in an educational setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Previous experience in a school or child-focused environment is desirable.
Commitment to ongoing professional development.
