Watrehouse Operative

Position: Warehouse Operative with Counter Balance Licence

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (includes 3 breaks: 15 mins morning, 30 mins lunch (unpaid), 15 mins afternoon)

About our Client:

They are a small, friendly company seeking a reliable and adaptable Warehouse Operative to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who takes direction well, is eager to learn, and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate a Counterbalance Forklift (licence required).

· Use of Electric Pallet Truck (preferred but not essential).

· Assist with warehouse machinery, including opening pallets, loading machines, and re-palletising stock.

· Perform some heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.

· Handle stock and materials accurately and efficiently.

· Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and internal email systems to perform administrative tasks.

· Follow instructions to ensure smooth operation of the warehouse.

Essential Skills and Requirements:

· Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.

· Basic computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.

· Physical fitness to perform lifting tasks and machine operation.

· Willingness to learn and follow procedures.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with an Electric Pallet Truck.

· Previous warehouse or machine operation experience.
