Our client, a renowned organisation within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Fabricators - Platers to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to fabricate and assemble metal structures
* Cutting, shaping, and welding metal components to precise measurements
* Conducting rigorous inspections to ensure quality and accuracy of completed work
* Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and specifications
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Performing routine maintenance on fabrication equipment
Job Requirements:
* Experience in fabricating and plating within the Defence sector
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications related to metal fabrication
* Proficiency with tools and machinery used in metalwork, including cutting and welding equipment
* Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
* Ability to work effectively in a team setting and meet project timelines
* Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in industrial work environments
