Facilities Management Technician (Electrical Background)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled FM Technician with an electrical background to join our client’s team to cover the TECA Energy Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out general maintenance tasks and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) for electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both planned preventive and reactive maintenance work.
Monitor and manage the BMS system (training will be provided).
Conduct emergency lighting testing.
Fault finding and completion of PPM tasks within scheduled deadlines.
Ensure the work environment is clean and safe at all times.
Maintain high levels of client satisfaction by delivering quality service.
Report directly to the Operations Manager, executing all assigned tasks.
Identify and implement service improvements for better delivery.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and legal standards.
Monitor the quality of work to meet company standards and client expectations.
Continuously develop personal skills and competencies through ongoing professional development.
Skills & Experience:
Strong electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with PPM tasks and emergency lighting testing.
Knowledge of health, safety, and compliance standards.
Desirable: Experience in portable appliance testing and 17th/18th Edition certification.
Working Hours:
12-hour shift pattern, alternating between day (8am - 8pm) and night (8pm - 8am) shifts, on a 4 days on, 4 days off rotation.
24 days of holiday, including bank holidays.
Essential Requirement:
Electrical background with relevant hands-on experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
17th/18th Edition certification.
Experience in Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
