Position Details:
Role: Court Usher
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday (08:30-17:00).
Duration: Temporary assignment for 6 months with potential for extension
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Location: The Law Courts Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9EL
Start Date: ASAP, vetting pending

Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring parties are ready for court hearings, calling on cases in the court room, ensuring customers make contact with solicitors
Swear in Juries, make sure Jurors enter court room.
Liaise with Barristers and Judiciary to ensure cases are ready to be heard.
Basic admin duties, answering calls and post duties.Skills and Qualifications:
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.
Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Note: The offered candidate is subject to vetting - enhanced DBS clearance and an activity check for the last 3 years.
