Band 4 Inpatient Occupational Therapy Assistant –Surrey

Hunter AHP have an exciting opportunity for a therapy assistant to secure an ongoing locum contract. This role is based in a 28-bed rehabilitation hospital. Nonetheless, you must have full driving licence and have the use of a car. 

The assistant will be required to carry out wash and dress assessments, kitchen assessments, travel to patients’ properties to deliver equipment, accompany OT’s on access visits and home visits/discharge home visits, assist physiotherapists with progression of mobility and exercise plans.   

You will work as part of a wider highly experienced multi-disciplinary therapy team which include occupational therapists, physiotherapist, nurses, and other assistant to run classes. 

Key responsibilities of the assistant role as follows:

To assistant in providing a high-quality therapy assistant service to support individuals within an inpatient setting.
