About the role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Teacher to join our team in January 2025. This part-time role offers a competitive daily salary of £160-£210 and will involve teaching a reception class, with approximately 20-25 students.

The role is part-time, requiring availability for 3-4 days per week, providing an excellent work-life balance. This is a replacement role due to the retirement of the current teacher, ensuring a seamless transition for the new hire with plenty of support.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• A deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum and a passion for early years education.
• Experience in teaching in an EYFS setting is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all children, including those with SEN.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver creative and engaging lessons to a class of Reception-aged children.
• Implement and assess the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring all learning objectives are met.
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development, tailoring learning to meet individual needs.
• Work collaboratively with support staff, parents, and colleagues to ensure the well-being of each child.
• Maintain an inclusive and safe classroom environment.
• Regularly assess and track student progress, reporting to parents and the wider school community.
