Geography Teacher

Are you a passionate Geography teacher looking to make a change? Flourish Education are recruiting a secondary Geography teacher to start immediately on a long-term ongoing basis

Our client is based in Wolverhampton with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and has a great local reputation. The ideal candidate will be confident teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4.

As this is a long-term supply teacher role, you will be expected to:

Teach Geography throughout KS3 and KS4.
Planning, marking, and assessment required.
Comply with the school behaviour policy.
Reporting pupil progress against targets/action plans
Build relationships with the pupils, parents, and staff.
Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
Required skills and experience for the Geography Teacher role:

Specialist in Humanities (Geography)
Confident teaching Geography up to GCSE
Must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in humanities- Early career Teachers (ECT’s) are encouraged to apply.
Ability to manage a classroom with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisation skills.
Contact references from all employment in the last 24 months.
Previous school experience teaching Geography.
