Our private client are seeking an Occupational Therapist to support their Specialist School in Sandbach on a permanent basis.
The School provides education for up to 120 pupils aged 5-19 and caters to children with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide clinical support across specialist schools / learning centres and children's homes for young people with complex needs.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support educational and residential staff in creating therapeutic living and learning environments.
Conduct clinical assessments and formulate individualised interventions for young people.
Collaborate with teams to ensure therapeutic support is integrated into all aspects of education, care, and support.
Offer consultation, workshops, training, and guidance to educational and residential teams.Requirements:
Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC
