GCP Lead or Architect

We are looking for a highly experienced professional to join and play an instrumental role in our Google Alliance team. The Role

As a GCP Technical Lead, you will act as a subject matter expert for delivering cutting-edge solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. This is a role where you will set direction and take ownership of deliverables. You may lead a development team, or work across multiple teams providing centralized expertise for larger, complex programs.

Responsibilities include:

* Leading high-level architectural discussions and designing scalable, innovative solutions.

* Overseeing DevSecOps processes, establishing principles, and implementing robust methodologies across teams or entire programs.

* Regularly engaging with clients, serving as a key point of contact to align solutions with their needs.

* Coaching and mentoring team members, fostering their technical and professional development.

* Playing an active role in technical account management to ensure project success and client satisfaction.

You’ll work on designing GCP-enabled solutions for clients across various industries. Expect an immersive, hands-on role where your contributions directly shape client outcomes. My client will support your professional growth, including opportunities to specialize further and achieve additional GCP certifications.

Qualifications

We are looking for specialists with knowledge of the following GCP products and deep expertise in at least one of these areas:

* Serverless: Cloud Run, Cloud Functions.

* Compute: Kubernetes Engine, Compute Engine.

* Networking and Security: VPC networks, Service Perimeters, IAM, PAM, VPC Service Controls.

* Data and Analytics: BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Firestore, Dataproc, Dataflow, Data Fusion, Cloud Composer.

* API Management: Apigee, Cloud Endpoints.

* Security Controls: Security Command Centre.

In addition, you should have a strong understanding of:

* Microservices patterns and event-driven architectures.

* Relational and non-relational databases.

* Development or scripting using Python, Node.js, or Bash.

* Security best practices for access control, data protection, and communications.

Nice-to-Have Skills

We’d love to see experience with:

* Automation tools such as Google Cloud Build or Terraform.

* Other cloud platforms, though GCP expertise is the primary focus.
