We are looking for nurturing, resilient and highly motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our wonderful support team. If you're a committed individual, who enjoys supporting children in their pursuit of personal bests, then we can offer you flexible work in one of our BS5 schools.

This long term assignment will look to bring you consistent work, all whilst allowing you to build a real connection with your class. You will be supporting a child with SEN requirements and will need to be a patient and caring individual.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location: Bristol, BS5

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

Type of work: Carry out professional duties, responsible for group support/1:1 support, ensure the safety and welfare of pupils, 1:1 care, ASD support, ASD trained

Start Date: Immediate

Rate of pay : £95 - £120 p/d, subject to assignment

Hours: 08:30 - 16:00

EXPERIENCE

Desirable:

*Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification (not essential)

*Experience of working with various SEND conditions

*Experience of inclusive classroom practice

*Understanding how to fully support the teacher in the classroom

*Previous experience of supporting learning using a range of strategies, both with groups and on a 1:1 basis

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK

Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

Provide two professional child related references
