Operations Assistant
Location: Wyton, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £24,430 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent
We are seeking an Operations Assistant for our client in Wyton. This is a permanent role with one of the UK's leading automotive companies.
Objectives for Role:
* Accurately update vehicle records in all relevant systems.
* Ensure items and vehicles are stored correctly.
* Perform ad hoc duties to support administration and inventory processes.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations.
* Drive professionally and treat all vehicles with respect.
* Maintain a calm and courteous manner when interacting with customers and colleagues.
* Drive vehicles as instructed by your line manager, within your licensing.
* Conduct Quality Control checks within specified timeframes.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
* Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues.
* Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Proficient with handheld and tablet technology.
* Computer literate, with a basic understanding of CAMS.
* Basic knowledge of HSE legislation.
* Previous experience of working within the automotive industry is required/preferred.
