We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager for our client, a leading organisation in the food industry. As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of warehouse performance and driving high standards within the team. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring strong leadership skills and operational expertise.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Successfully delivering the Warehouse Business Plan and efficiently managing all inbound, outbound, and internal activity.
Demonstrating strong leadership presence and actively supporting Zone Managers in driving performance.
Defining and implementing weekly reporting mechanisms to drive performance and actions.
Chairing performance review meetings and cascading relevant information to the Operations Manager.
Driving consistent working practises, targets, and KPIs throughout the Warehouse.
Promoting a strong health and safety culture and actively mitigating risks.
Overseeing all Warehouse-related SOPs and ensuring compliance.
Managing and addressing disciplinary, performance, and grievance issues.
Assessing skill gaps and identifying training solutions to address operational requirements.
Collaborating with HR to manage talent and succession planning.
Working with the Planning Manager to determine resource requirements and gain budget approval.
Defining and driving effective communication strategies and engagement initiatives.
Acting as a company representative during site visits and audits.
Leading and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.To be successful in this role, you should have experience leading, motivating, and developing teams in a 24/7 operational environment. Previous experience in fast-moving warehousing, preferably in the food industry, is desirable. Strong change management skills, lean/continuous improvement knowledge, and budget management experience are also required.
