About the Company:

My client is the largest privately owned construction company in the North of England, boasting a reputation for excellence across Commercial New Build, Civil Engineering, and Social & Private Housing. The Role:

They are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Commercial team. This role will see you managing two significant projects in Bridlington:

* A social housing and residential apartment building

* A new care home apartment complex.

You will play a key role in overseeing project budgets of up to £15 million, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency while working under JCT Design & Build contract forms.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all financial aspects of the projects, from inception to completion.

* Prepare, review, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.

* Oversee the submission of payment applications and conduct valuations.

* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

* Provide timely and accurate cost reporting to senior management.

* Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Who They’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will have:

* Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.

* Strong knowledge of JCT Design & Build (D&B) contract forms.

* A track record of successfully managing budgets of up to £15 million.

* Experience in social housing and care home projects, with familiarity in timber frame construction, is ideal.

* Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.

* The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines across different sites.
