Job Duties:

Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures
Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards
Provide advice and guidance on health and safety regulations
Deliver health and safety training to employees
Investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions
Keep up to date with changes in health and safety legislation

Required Qualifications:

NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
Proven experience working in a health and safety role
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations

Education:

Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a health and safety advisory role

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent
Membership of IOSH or other relevant professional body

Working Conditions:

Office-based with occasional site visits
Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
Travel may be required
