Join a reputable construction firm based in `Cambridgeshire as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator. Our client specialises in residential and commercial projects and are seeking a skilled professional with previous experience in surveying and estimating, who is degree-qualified and able to carry out a range of essential duties.

Responsibilities:

* Preparation of budgets and estimates for residential construction projects

* Handling sub-contract enquiries and negotiations

* Measurement and valuation of interim and final accounts

* Ensuring cost control and profitability of projects

* Collaborating with project teams to achieve financial objectives

* Providing accurate and timely financial reports

* Managing variations and change orders effectively

* Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions

Desirable Experience

* Previous experience in a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator role, with a focus on residential projects

* Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field

* Strong analytical and numerical skills

* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities

* Proficiency in industry-standard surveying software and tools

* Ability to work effectively in a team environment

* Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
