About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and skilled HR Officer to join our growing team. In this key role, you will support our HR functions by managing recruitment processes, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance. As the HR Officer, you will play a critical role in fostering a positive work culture, ensuring HR best practices, and helping Tempest Resourcing continue to be a great place to work.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding.
Employee Relations: Provide support on employee relations matters, addressing concerns, and facilitating conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
Performance Management: Assist with performance review cycles, supporting managers with tools, processes, and feedback.
HR Policies & Compliance: Ensure that HR policies are up-to-date, aligned with legal requirements, and well-communicated to all staff.
Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities to support staff growth and development.
Record Management: Maintain accurate and secure HR records, ensuring compliance with data protection and company policies.
Payroll & Benefits Administration: Support payroll processes and assist employees with queries about benefits and other HR-related issues.
About You
- Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
