We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Reception Teacher to work in a vibrant primary school in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. As a Reception Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm, engaging classroom atmosphere. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons that promote learning through play and exploration. You will work closely with our dedicated team to ensure each child’s individual needs are met and their development is supported.
Date rate: £162.31 - £251.71 (Plus London Fringe Allowance)
Key Responsibilities for a Reception Teacher
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, and academic growth.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.
* Build strong relationships with parents and the wider school community.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience working with children in early years settings is highly desirable.
* A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning.
* An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
