About the role: We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school in Barking & Dagenham. About the school: This welcoming, OFSTED-rated 'Good' school serves children from Nursery to Year 6. It boasts modern, well-resourced classrooms and an Additional Resourced Provision (ARP) specifically designed for children aged 4-11 with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC). Application Requirements:

• Experience working with SEN students, particularly in an ARP classroom.
• Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Conditions and strategies to support varied learning needs.
• A qualification in special education or teaching assistance (preferred but not essential).
• A willingness to assist with personal care as required.
• Patience, empathy, and an unyielding commitment to supporting every child’s potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with ASC and other SEN needs.
• Assist in delivering personalized learning activities that meet individual education plans (IEPs).
• Offer personal care support when needed, with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Foster an inclusive, safe, and encouraging environment for learning and personal growth.
• Collaborate with staff and parents to ensure holistic support for each child’s development.
