About the role:

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will be an integral part of the school’s teaching team, supporting both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students in their academic journey. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant looking to take the next step in their career. You will work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, support small groups, and provide tailored assistance to students, ensuring each child receives the individual attention they need. Application Requirements: To apply for this exciting HLTA opportunity, you should meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Level 4 or higher Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Have experience working in a primary school, ideally within both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Be confident in leading small groups and whole-class teaching when required.
• Possess a strong understanding of the primary school curriculum.
• Demonstrate a passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Be committed to supporting inclusive education

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1 and 2.
• Provide 1:1 and small group interventions to support children with varying learning needs.
• Lead learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Assist in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Help assess and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
• Contribute to planning and preparation of learning resources.
