Fitter Welder

An established recycling company based in Smethwick requires an experienced heavy plant fitter for the night shift.
Duties:
* Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs on mobile and fixed plant equipment including 360 excavators, loading shovels, forklifts, shredders, conveyors, and all manner of recycling plant equipment.
* Plant safety inspections.
* TIG and MIG welding.
Requirements:
* Experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy plant equipment preferably in a scrapyard / recycling environment.
* Mechanical fitting expereince essential.
* MIG and Arc welding experience esential.
* Own tools required.
Hours:
* 3am to 2am Monday to Friday. (Night shift)
* Note it is a shorter day Frdiday if you are workign the weekend.
* Saturdays 10am to 4pm at time & half
* Sunday 10am to 4pm at double time
* Overtime as required.
This is a permanent position that starts immediately
