HSE Advisor (Electrical)

Description & Background:

An opportunity has arisen for a HSE Advisor for the Hinkley Point C project. This critical role is essential to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across complex electrical installations and maintenance operations.

Responsibilities:

Promote a positive Health & Safety culture throughout the company and supply chain
Implement and ensure HSE Management System policies and procedures across all project work scopes
Conduct weekly site performance inspections and comprehensive audits
Ensure appropriate implementation of company policies and procedures
Manage comprehensive incident response, reporting, and investigation processes
Experience Required:

Health & Safety Degree or NEBOSH General Certificate
Electrical qualification advantageous
Experience of monitoring and auditing electrical scopes of work essential
Proven experience in HSE management within complex industrial environments
Extensive knowledge of HSE best practices and management systems
Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive safety assessments
Ability to lead and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders
Advanced reporting and documentation skills
Rate, Hours and Location:

10 hours per day Full-time
Site-based at Hinkley Point C, Somerset
