Position: Skilled Wireman

Due to the nature of the work with this client you will require or be eligible for SC clearance meaning you will need a British passport as a minimum.

We are seeking a highly skilled Wireman to join our clients team who are a leader in advanced defence technology. In this role, you will be responsible for precision wiring, assembly, and installation of complex electrical systems, contributing to the delivery of cutting-edge defence solutions. If you have a keen eye for detail and expertise in wiring and soldering to high standards, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team working on critical defence projects.

What will your responsibilities be as a Skilled Wireman:

* Reworking and repairing of PCBs

* Integrating LRUs and sub systems

* Assembling cable assemblies and terminating military-grade connectors

* Terminating cable assemblies into various racks

* Working with various cable types such as RF, data and power

* Carrying out heavy builds for larger mechanical assemblies

* Using inspection and measuring equipment

* Assembling moving components

* Carrying out mechanical rack assembly

* Identifying potential improvements to manufacturing methods

What experience/qualifications will you have as a Skilled Wireman?

* Time served experience

* IPC 610/620 qualification

* J-Std qualification

* Ability to interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings

* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
