TeacherActive is proud to be working with a school in the Middlesbrough area. The school is looking to take on a hard-working, reliable and enthusiastic school caretaker to join their friendly, dedicated team.
A successful school caretaker will be a hard-working, well-organised, approachable and team player. They will be enthusiastic and well organised as well as have a positive attitude and a flexible approach to their work. They will have the skills to carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks throughout the school as well as be able to prioritise work and manage their own workload and deadlines effectively. The successful school caretaker will undertake a range of duties including ensuring the security, safety and cleanliness of the school building and grounds. . The position will be long-term term leading to a permanent position in the school.

A successful school caretaker will have:

Enhanced DBS check (required.)
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
