About the Technical Manager job

The purpose of your role will be to assist with the ongoing implementation of the BRC standard through documentation, auditing, and management.

Key tasks

* Ensure that teams are maintaining correct high quality and meeting customer requirements of specifications and quality attributes.

* Lead and facilitate the introduction of new processes, methods, equipment, and the production of products, both new and existing.

* Take effective action in the event of non-conformances / customer complaints to determine the root cause and reduce the risk of reoccurrence.

About You

You should possess solid experience working in a QA or technical role in food manufacturing. In addition:

* Ideally educated to a degree level in food science, food safety, or a related subject.

* Ideally holder of qualifications including HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3.

* Experience of working with the BRC standard.

A driving licence and own transport will be needed due to the site location.

The Technical Manager job is based in North Yorkshire and is paying to £43,000 according to your experience.

The package includes 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays), which increases 1 day after 2 years’ service, statutory pension and 2 weeks full sick pay after 3 years’ service.

The working hours are up to 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday (usually 7.00am to 4.00pm) with Saturdays (usually 6.00am to midday) on a rota basis and then a day off in lieu.
