Religious Education teacher - Stockport - January start
Prospero Teacher are seeking to a passionate Religious Education Teacher to join a team at a secondary school in Stockport. The role will start after the Christmas break and will continue for 12 months until the Chrimstas break of 2025.
The successful candidate will have recent experience teaching Religious Education and will be able to motivate, elevate and challenge students to produce the highest quality work and achieve high academic standards. It would be advantageous if you have experience teaching citizenship or PSHE recently.
The ideal candidate:
Has a proven history to secure excellent pupil results in Religious Education GCSE exams Can inspire and lead high quality teaching, learning and assessment Is dynamic and an ambitious practitioner, who can build on the success of the subject and ensure good progress for all pupils Has experience of effective teaching and supporting pupils with a range of SEN, behavioural and academic needs.

8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Be willing to register with Prospero Teaching and complete all required vetting checks
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide a minimum of two professional teaching related references
up to date safe guarding training (essential, training can be provided)
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training (essential, training can be provided)
