EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled Deburrer to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working permanently.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

* Circa £12.50 per hour + shift allowance dependant on shift

* Shift allowance on Weekend Days - 50% up lift on hourly day rate

* Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)

Your responsibilities include:

* You will be responsible for removing sharp edges, burrs, and other imperfections from various metal components within a precision engineering environment

* The daily use of various tools and equipment such as files, sanders, grinders, etc

​​​​Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:​​​​

* Previous deburring experience

* Experience working on complex Aerospace parts

* Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Capable of following work instructions

* Ability to use hand and air tools

* Able to Drill, Countersink, Chamfer, Trim Down, Polish, Saw, and Tap Components to engineering drawing requirements

* Previous experience self-inspecting own parts using manual measuring equipment

* Strong attention to detail
