Class 1 HGV Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services acting as an Employment Business are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on behalf of our client to join our well-known client's distribution site based in Severn Beach, Bristol (BS35).

This Class 1 HGV Driver position is to ensure the accurate, safe and timely delivery of goods to Domino's Pizza Stores while following all Domino' Pizza policies and operating procedures.

Various shifts patterns available:

Week 1: Mon & Tue: IN - Weds & Thurs: OFF - Fri & Sat: IN - Sun: OFF
Week 2: Mon, Tue, Weds & Thurs: IN - Fri, Sat, Sun: OFF
Week 3: Mon & Tue: OFF - Weds, Thurs, Fri, Sat: IN - Sun: OFF
Flexible weekly working rotas available.HGV Class 1 Driver will be required:

Hold a valid a C+E License
Hold a valid Tacho and CPC card
No more than 6 points (No DD's, DR's, TT's or IN's)
Delivery of goods into Domino's Pizza Stores by hand-balling products into the designated areas.
Have a good understanding and Comply with all Transport legislation i.e. working time directive, Driving hours/breaks and tachograph laws.
Ensuring the goods being delivered match against the delivery paperwork.
Collection of empty dough trays, cages and dollies from Domino's Pizza Stores.
Provide a high level of customer service that is always maintained.
Follow all company procedures and ensuring the accurate completion of all paperwork with each shift.
Abide by Health & Safety at all times to ensure you work in a manner that keeps you and your colleagues safe.
Always notify the Central Office at the earliest opportunity of any delays to your deliveries or if you are unable to make a delivery for any reason.
12 week temp to perm position for right candidateRequired Skills:

Manual Handling Certificate
Experience of Hygiene procedures, standards and equipment (Desirable)
Basic food Hygiene CertificatePAYE rates for HGV Class 1 Driver:

Days £16.78
Weekly OT after 48h £25.17This position is commutable from: Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Bath, Gloucester, Newport, Cardiff, Chepstow
