About the Role

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of state-of-the-art production machinery. Your responsibilities will include:

Ensuring operational efficiency: Providing both electrical and mechanical support to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability.

Swift problem-solving: Diagnosing and repairing machinery breakdowns efficiently to maintain continuous production.

Driving improvements: Actively contributing to Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives to boost productivity and reduce costs.

Maintenance excellence: Performing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) while addressing reactive maintenance needs promptly.

Hands-on technical work: Operating and maintaining cutting-edge automated machinery in a fast-paced production setting.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: A proven track record in manufacturing or production, ideally within the food or FMCG sectors.

Technical skills: Strong expertise in electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation, complemented by robust mechanical knowledge.

Qualifications: A recognized degree, NVQ, or time-served apprenticeship in engineering.

Problem-solving abilities: A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the capability to perform effectively under pressure.
