Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons to students of various age groups and abilities.
Promote a love for physical activity, health, and fitness, encouraging student participation and engagement.
Assess and track students' progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
Maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom and during practical sessions.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
Contribute to extra-curricular activities and school sports events in Abingdon.
Work collaboratively with colleagues in the PE department to enhance the curriculum and share best practices.Ideal Candidate:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) and a degree in PE or a related subject.
Passionate about physical education and helping students succeed.
Previous teaching experience in PE is desirable but not essential.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
A proactive and enthusiastic approach to teaching, with the ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles.
