Do you have effective customer facing administration experience? Do you consider yourself to be IT literate? Are you based in or around Stalybridge?
If the answer is “Yes”, then Aggregate Industries is looking for someone like you to join as a Sales and Logistics Representative on a temporary basis. The ideal applicant for this position will be able to multitask, have a strong geographical knowledge and some experience within the haulage industry. Full training will be provided.
Role - Sales and Logistics Representative
Pay - £14.35ph
Location- Aggregate Industries/ Stalybridge Readymix Bridge St, Stalybridge SK15 1PF
100% office based initially with the view for some hybrid working after training
Shift pattern- Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week, general office hours
Duration- 3-6 months
Start date - ASAP (within one week)
Responsibilities:
*
Supporting a team of four people by processing small sales
*
Acting as a point of contact for customers requiring assistance or additional information
*
Receiving customer enquiries and small orders via telephone
*
Ensuring the customers needs are met at all times
*
Taking and processing orders accurately the first time
*
Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints as they arise
*
Providing administrative and customer support to internal and external stakeholders
*
Signposting stakeholders in the right direction for queries you are unable to resolve
*
Collaborating data into IT systems
*
Prioritising deliveries against supply
*
Keeping customers informed and updated of any delays or lack of supply
*
Resolving cash sales enquiries
*
Deploying haulage resources to ensure customer orders are fulfilled
*
Promoting and abiding by current Health and Safety legislation at all times
Experience needed:
*
Prior experience in a customer facing administrative role
*
Previous experience within a Logistics/Export/Haulage role
*
Good geographical knowledge
*
Capacity to operate with minimal supervision and self motivated
*
Strong IT literacy skills and experience with in house IT systems
*
Confident telephone manner
*
Strong verbal and written communication skills
*
Excellent interpersonal skills
