eaching Personnel are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in  Birmingham This is a potenitally permanent position, starting in January, offering a fantastic chance to make an impact on students' learning and development.

About the Role:

Position: Geography Teacher (Temp to perm)

Location: Central Birmingham

Start Date: January 2025

Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to perm

Key Stage: KS3 & KS4

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Plan, prepare, and assess student progress according to the curriculum.
Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Geography curriculum and contribute to departmental development.
Support students in their academic and personal growth through mentoring and guidance.
The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Geography at KS3 & KS4 (GCSE level).
A passion for Geography and a strong ability to inspire students.
Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
