Our Client is looking to recruit an experienced IT Co-ordinator to work at its site in Washington, Tyne and Wear. The role of site IT Co-ordinator is to maintain the relationship between IT Shared Services and the site by assuring that the users are receiving the agreed level of service from IT Shared Services.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure uninterrupted operation of the site SAP production system, including provision of on-call support out of office hours.

· Develop the site's SLA/relationship with IT Shared Services: track consistent performance of the ERP and production systems, ensuring their functionality and to direct their day to day utilisation and upkeep.

· Elaborate and track the IT Shared Services budget of the site, issuing or validating all the related IT purchases.

· With the validation of Business Group (BG) IT, carry out the following tasks:

­Collect and address site requests: Implement both new projects for local applications and infrastructure and improvements in the existing systems, to ensure the right evolution.

­ Ensure the functional ownership of the systems by the user.

­ Provide training to users in as necessary in application of the procedures.

· Give technical and functional support to the users, assuming responsibility for the resolution of all kinds of IT incidents reported by the users/helpdesk.

· Ensure the application of Group standards, especially concerning hardware, software, security policies, software licenses control, inventory, etc.

· Manage site contracts and relationships with external suppliers.

· Define and apply IT procedures specific to the site.

· Report monthly on dashboard/important indicators and important events of the site, to share with region; integrate into monthly Action Plan meetings in co-ordination with Regional IT Director.

· During the pursuit of all duties the Code of Ethics and Code of Management will be adhered to at all times.

Personal Specification:

· Bachelor's degree in management with specialisation in Information Technology.

· Minimum 5 years in an IT role, with a strong preference for experience in manufacturing and JIT production systems.

· Experience in administration of ERP/SAP systems (ideally at least 2, or familiarity with XPPS) is desirable.

· Experience with EDI is desirable.

· Understanding of network infrastructure and administration of TCP/IP networks.

· Ability to communicate and to negotiate effectively.

· Ability to install and maintain servers.

The role is a part time role, 25hours per week, Monday to Friday 5 hours per day
