Growing IPP in solar, onshore wind and BESS technologies

We've partnered with a leading IPP in the onshore renewable energy space, who are expanding their grid team through a crucial hire into this successful team. The team is focusing on early-stage developments with over 1.5GW of current grid connections and a target total of 4GW by the end of their year. Their aim is to move to an IPP model within the next 5 years also- so now's a great time to join the group

Your role:
This is a crucial position in the team, supporting their growing grid function. Due to the nature of the team and their entrepreneurial nature, different backgrounds, abilities and industries are all of interest for this opportunity

The main responsibilities to this position will be:
- Support the growing grid function throughout the connection process
- Ensuring applications are compliant and up to date with all relevant grid policies in the UK.
- Liaising with DNOs and TSOs, ensuring correct processes are followed and the best connection agreement is reached.
- Supporting on stakeholder engagements with all relevant internal and external stakeholders.
This internal team is one of the most exciting to join at the moment, with incredible progression opportunities and flexible aspects to the opportunity.

The company:
Over the last 5 years, this group has been on a simple mission. To become a leading IPP in the UK, offering high quality renewable energy projects at the best cost. They're currently a team of just over 10 with strong growth plans over the coming years.

This growth is to support their growing pipeline, that currently stands at 1GW, with an additional 5GW of solar and wind projects targeted by the end of the next year. This is across the whole of the UK, and different technologies, including solar, wind and BESS.

Their business model is set to support this also, offering full integrated development capabilities on all projects. They have strong financial support from their funders to support this ongoing growth.
