Humanities Teacher - Outstanding School in Romford

Are you an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher looking to join an Outstanding school with a reputation for excellence? We are seeking a talented and passionate Humanities Teacher to join our dedicated team at our high-performing mixed comprehensive school based in Romford. This role is set to begin in January 2025, with remuneration in line with the Outer London teachers' pay scale.

Our facilities are modern and well-resourced, and our students, aged eleven to sixteen, display a remarkable eagerness to learn and engage with the curriculum.

As our new Humanities Teacher, you will have the rewarding opportunity to teach history, humanities, and social sciences to students across KS3 and KS4. You will be joining a supportive team that strives to create engaging and dynamic lessons, encouraging students to develop critical thinking skills and a deep understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering high-quality lessons in history, humanities, and social sciences to students at KS3 and KS4
Inspiring students to achieve their potential and instilling a love for the humanities
Engaging in collaborative planning with fellow teachers to maintain a challenging, coherent curriculum
Contributing to the school's ethos by promoting a caring and supportive environment for all studentsAbout You:

A qualified Humanities Teacher with experience teaching at KS3 and KS4
A passion for the humanities subjects, particularly history and social sciences
