We are currently seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI to join our dynamic Imaging team. As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI, you will play a pivotal role in providing outstanding diagnostic imaging services across a range of sites in central London, working with cutting-edge Siemens MRI scanners and collaborating with leading radiologists.

About the Role
As a Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI, you will focus on delivering exceptional MRI imaging services. This will include performing a diverse range of MRI exams—such as musculoskeletal, neuro, breast, urology, and GI imaging—tailoring sequences to meet clinical needs and ensuring optimal diagnostic outcomes. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement MRI protocols and patient pathways, maintaining the highest standards of imaging practice.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide a professional standard of MRI imaging services as a Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI, ensuring accuracy, safety, and optimal patient care.

* Collaborate with radiologists and consultants in developing MRI imaging protocols, patient pathways, and policies to improve patient care.

* Adjust MRI sequences and techniques based on clinical requirements, ensuring optimal imaging quality for a range of specialties.

* Support continuous improvements within the MRI department, identifying and implementing best practices and quality assurance initiatives.

* Assist with patient scheduling, ensuring timely and accurate bookings, and supporting the delivery of verified radiologist reports.

* Take an active role in the training and development of junior staff and new team members.

* Maintain detailed records for patient scans, protocols, and equipment maintenance.

What We’re Looking For:

* HCPC registered.

* A degree in Radiography (or equivalent).

* Extensive experience working as a Clinical Specialist Radiographer – MRI, ideally in a senior or advanced clinical role (Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent).

* In-depth knowledge of MRI procedures and patient safety protocols, particularly concerning implants.

* Experience working with Siemens MRI equipment.

* Strong communication and team collaboration skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
