Transport Planner

Our client based in Gainsborough is on the lookout for a dedicated Transport Planner to help optimise their operations and ensure efficient delivery of goods. If you’re passionate about logistics, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, this could be the opportunity for you

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and Coordinate: Manage transport operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Develop Strategies: Create and implement effective logistic strategies to enhance performance and reduce costs.
- Ensure Compliance: Maintain compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Analyse Performance: Monitor and assess performance to identify areas of improvement.

Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the transport or logistics sector.
- CPC Transport Manager qualification is desirable, or a willingness to train towards it.
- Knowledge of ADR regulations is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have who transport due to limited public transport access to the site.
